Monday Blues

That 'Oh man, it's Monday' feeling is back again, and I have to say, I didn't really miss it. My classes start at 7:30 and that leaves no time to get up, get ready, get energized and go. For the first Monday of the school year, I went as casual as casual can be. Blue jeans, white t-shirt, and a few add-ons to really make it pop. Also, here's a look at my brother's apartment where I will be staying this semester, including the little to no closet space I have and the dirty window that overlooks campus. But hey, it's a place to stay, and Noah seems to really like it. ;)

Yay! It's a new semester and I am just about as excited as I was on the first day of kindergarten! Starting off my fashion career the right way, I am fully devoted to being one of the best dressed students at LSU. I hope you are all as excited as I am about the new semester, or the new year. My brother was going to throw out this shirt that he wore to an 80's party way back when. Luckily, I found it in the pile of give-away clothes just in time. My mom begged me to put it back, telling me that I was never going to wear it and that I would look less than fabulous in an old guy's shirt. I would say I proved her wrong ;) xx

It is way too cold in Louisiana tonight, and, after working in my mom's preschool all day, all I want to do tonight is stay warm! So, it's Breakfast at Tiffany's and Grey's Anatomy for me. Have a great weekend! xx

Just spending a little QT with my mom before I head back to school. There are groceries to get and appointments to attend and no time to get ready, hints the go-to outfit. I've had this sweater for ages, and it is starting to show how much I love it. Snags and little holes, etc. But hey, that adds a little character, and if Blake Lively can wear a holey sweater on the cover of Vogue and make that fashionably correct, I don't see a problem with this. ;)

    Happy New Year, everyone! and welcome to the new and improved South & Stilettos! Turns out, 'they' were right: it IS better to do your research before you start your project. That being said, Just Talking Fashion is now, you guessed it, South & Stilettos due to a bit of lack of creativy on my part, as well as a few hundred other bloggers. I guess I was just SO excited to start on this project that I just picked the first title that came to mind ;) unlike in high school when I was never excited and the title was always last.
