Despite how stylish I am looking today in my tube socks and old t-shirt, I thought it would be good to show you a little bit of what is inspiring me right now. My budget doesn't exactly exist at the moment, but I'm sure I could find a way to incorporate my ancient wardrobe into some of these spring styles. That, or someone could call me in for an interview and hire me! The latter would be more ideal, of course, but until then..enjoy ;)

So, what do you think about my new bangs? I cut them myself, and yes, they are uneven but that gives them the edge I wanted. haha. Happy Mardi Gras everybody! I hope you had enough king cake to get you through the year. xx

And yes, in Louisiana, it is very much a cloudy day. And our hot, humid weather is back after those few short days of winter. By all means, I'm not too disappointed. The only thing I love more than getting my good ol' frizzy hair back (not) is the shopping I'll be doing for little spring dresses and summer wedges. Tuition is going to have to wait, I NEED a new wardobe. Yes, I do!

Happy Valentine's Day to all. I hope it is everything you were hoping for. I know mine was. There's nothing like fashion class and reruns of 90210 to get me all sentimental. ;)
This new jacket of mine is also something that I get all sappy over. It was regularly $120, but I only paid $20. What a deal, right?

I'll just be hanging out around my mom's house today before my long drive back to Baton Rouge this evening. This maxi is perfect for just hanging out and doing laundry. Plus, if anyone shows up to say hey, it looks a little better than sweatpants. Have a great Sunday! xx

Of course a few days after I say my goodbyes to winter the temperature drops out of nowhere! I'll blame that one on the weather man, but hey, it's not a problem. I finally get to wear this sweater I found while sifting around through the billions of stores in Orlando. As for all the rain, I guess it's time to buy a raincoat.

..or pretty close to it. I have given up all hopes of having even an inkling of a winter here in Baton Rouge, even though I still have a few sweaters mixed in my closet with my summer clothes. Was it really too much to ask to get to atleast 40 degrees? I guess so. I'm thinking this time next year I'll plan a trip to New York or Boston, whichever is colder and has more snow. But for now it's shorts and tank tops for me. Oh, and the occasional sweater. xx
PS - I may have went a little crazy the other night and cut my own bangs, but don't worry, they're not too short and they look okay. Better than okay even, if I could just figure out how to style them. Photos to come. <3

Baton Rouge has just been a rain fest lately, so it has been raingear for me for the past week. Managed to get a few shots in between showers. Now, it is back to studying and filling out job applications. Yes, I have a very eventful life. ;) xx
